Day Out With Thomas

So, today was the day Brayden dreams of all year, we went to see Thomas. The weather wasn't nearly as favorable as last year and we were FREEZING cold and damp the whole time but we still had fun. He was excited to see Thomas again but this time in awe when he saw Sir Tophom Hat (the director of the railway). That was the first thing he asked for when we got there and wanted to skip the line to go see him. Due to his refusal to stand in line he missed meeting him the 1st time so when he came a 2nd time we convinced him if he wanted to meet him he had to stand in line. When he got up to him he was in complete awe. We told Brayden to give him a five and he did so wide-eyed and smiling. It made his day. Tavita's favorite part was the minature ponies they had (they took all other animals out of the petting zoo and had 6 ponies one of which was a baby). When we first got there they had one out walking and the lady took him right to Tavita and he couldn't stop laughing. He also enjoyed the train ride and was jumping up and down on the seat most of the time. We didn't last as long this year as last year, we wimped out after about 2 hours and went and ate at Dairy Keen. That place never tastes any better than the last time but Brayden always enjoys it. They were both EXAUSTED by the end but it was a fun day. We'll post pictures later.
