The Haps of the Shums

Just thought I'd drop a quick line, nothing big going on here. Just finished passing out chocolate haupia pies to the neighbors. They were a big hit, thought we'd share a bit of Hawaii in the midst of all this coldness. Took one to Aunt Leah and Uncle Allen and had a record visit. We weren't there more than 3 minutes. Uncle Allen was getting ready to give Aunt Leah a shower and I don't think she was dressed so we didn't even go in. She's been having a lot of problems with bedsores and goes to the docs tomorrow. They're getting, old but Uncle Allen is still puttin around working on his rental all the time. Brayden had fun passing the pies out and singing along the way. While were in our neighborhood we were letting him sit on my lap. We were listening to "Let it Snow" and he was beltin it out. We got out at a house and he was singing all the way to the door. When they answered he gave quite the hearty "Merry Christmas". Got back in the car and he was snappin away to "Jingle Bells". It was a fun night, now we just have to tackle another pie making fest to get out to family (Jenny n Tyson, Griffiths, Prince, Shultz we forgetting anyone???). Well, off to bed we go. Talk to everyone later.
