Here is a website that I found:
http://www.selectsmart.com/president/2008/comparethem.html
It's pretty cool in that it allows you to compare to presidential candidates and their viewpoints on various topics side by side. This way everyone can do their own research (even if it is minimal) on the various candidates and then choose which one to vote for. For those of you that graduated from Kahuku, there is going to be a primary election where all the Republicans run against each other and all the Dumbocrats run against each other. Then the winner from the Republican primary and the winner from the Dumbocrat party along with whoever thinks they can make it on their own or with the backing of some other smaller party run against each other. So for now focus on which ever party you are registered in (although I heard that Hawaii may not have a Republican primary not sure about that though). Here is a site that gives info on how to register for every state, it gives links for the various states, it also has some presidential candidate comparison but does not go very in depth:

So do some research and vote for who you think is going to be the best president. This way you can make a somewhat educated decision rather than voting for someone because you like their name, or the color of their tie (yes I am implying that the candidate that is running who does not wear a tie should not even even be considered for president. Actually she shouldn't even be considered a human. Although I was rather positively surprised by some of her viewpoints on certain issues), or for whatever other stupid reason some people use to vote. Sorry this post got kind of long, but just thought that this info may help.

you just wasted your time. i think i would know how the elections would work stupid.
I think that Janessa is talking about the slam against Kahuku not about your effort in helping us to be more aware of the elections.
Mom
thanks for posting this info, it would be nice to see everything laid out. Crazy thing is everyone is going to be able to vote this year. So Janessa and Tyler and whoever else isn't registered, make sure you do so. Well, Janessa you'll have to wait til July. We were talking about the elections at work. Crazy the diversity. A woman, a black person, and a mormon all running together. We were trying to get a few of the illegals at work to run figure they're about as qualified as some of the others running and it would help round out the make-up of canidates.
What's that joke about how we should get Gladys Knight to run for President? That way we'd get all three in one-- a woman, a black, AND a Mormon!
This is actually from Jenn's Mom not Jenn as I am scoping out your blog. Nice fam photo!
